006: If Katniss had not volunteered for Prim, it would have been the Prim and Peeta who entered the arena. With no gimmick and no skill, neither would have had any sponsors. They would have both died in their own way: Peeta of sickness, Prim of starvation. Cato would have won The Hunger Games and Katniss died in the woods, stricken with grief. And every year for the rest of eternity, 23 children would die for sport.
